who we are Rx Research is the clinical trials division of Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Clinic. The research division was founded in 1978. It has grown to be one of the largest non-university-affiliated research facilities, as well as the only Allergen Exposure Units in the United States. The physicians of Rx Research are committed to medical research –the heart of all medical advances - to help improve the quality of allergy and asthma care given to patients. Our early clinical work, as one of the largest non-university affiliated research centers in the country, has earned us the reputation as a reliable study site dedicated to performing clinically relevant and organized studies. Our commitment to staying at the forefront of asthma and allergy research is evident by Rx Research’s many presentations at national meetings and published work in medical journals. Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic’s 16 physicians are board certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and dedicated to quality patient care at 15 offices. Four of those offices include Rx Research sites, providing the added benefit to our patients as being accessible locations for clinical trial participation. All physicians in the practice are active in recruiting patients for studies and are responsible for supervising specific studies as either principal investigators or sub-investigators. In addition to quality physicians, Rx Research includes the experience of a highly trained staff of 15+ nurses and/or licensed medical professionals, many of whom are Certified Clinical Research Coordinators. Our goal is the same as yours: to perform safe clinical trials with accuracy, precision and expediency.
